Caldwell Cassady & Curry Adds Alexis Mosser as Associate in Dallas

Experienced attorney joins business litigation, intellectual property law firm

DALLAS – Caldwell Cassady & Curry is pleased to announce the addition of experienced attorney Alexis Mosser as a litigation associate in the firm’s Dallas office. She represents clients in a variety of federal cases involving complex business disputes and patent litigation, including handling inter partes review proceedings and other matters before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s Patent Trial and Appeal Board.

img_9470-2-2Ms. Mosser joins Caldwell Cassady & Curry with an extensive track record in state and federal courts, including cases heard by the Texas Supreme Court and the U.S. 5th Circuit Court of Appeals. A USPTO-registered patent attorney, Ms. Mosser also provides years of experience in patent prosecution cases.

In addition to her patent expertise, Ms. Mosser has handled a variety of business litigation involving securities disputes, contracts, fiduciary duties, real estate issues, fraud and libel. She is licensed to practice before all Texas state courts, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas, the U.S. 5th Circuit Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Texas.

Ms. Mosser earned her law degree, with honors, from the University of Texas School of Law and her Master of Laws in Intellectual Property and Information Law from the University of Houston Law Center. During law school, she and her teammate won the American Intellectual Property Law Association’s Giles Sutherland Rich Moot Court national championship and she served as Chief Articles Editor for The Review of Litigation. She also was awarded the Justice Mack Kidd Award for Appellate Advocacy.

A U.S. Navy veteran, Ms. Mosser earned her undergraduate degree in physics at the U.S. Naval Academy before serving as a Surface Warfare Officer. Her multiple military commendations include the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and the Global War on Terror Service Medal.
