Annual ranking recognizes intellectual property, business litigation firm
DALLAS – The Dallas-based intellectual property and business litigation firm Caldwell Cassady & Curry once again has earned selection to the exclusive Best Law Firms list published by U.S. News & World Report and The Best Lawyers in America.
The 2020 Best Law Firms list represents the fifth consecutive year that Caldwell Cassady & Curry has been named among the nation’s leading firms for intellectual property litigation and patent litigation based on nominations from other lawyers.
Caldwell Cassady & Curry earned selection this year based on its Tier 1 ranking as one of the best law firms in the Dallas/Fort Worth region for intellectual property litigation and patent litigation.
Name principals Brad Caldwell, Jason Cassady and Austin Curry all were named in the 2020 edition of The Best Lawyers in America for their work in intellectual property litigation and patent litigation.
Caldwell Cassady & Curry recently was named to the Texas Verdicts Hall of Fame by the publishers of Texas Lawyer newspaper after winning four of the largest intellectual property verdicts in the state between 2014 and 2018.
Earlier this year, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit affirmed a $439 million judgment won by Caldwell Cassady & Curry on behalf of firm client VirnetX Inc. against Apple Inc. following a patent infringement trial heard in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
Since the firm was named to last year’s Best Law Firms list, eight Caldwell Cassady & Curry attorneys were named to the annual Texas Rising Stars list of the state’s top young lawyers. Individually, Mr. Curry was named as one of only six intellectual property attorneys in the nation on the annual Rising Stars list by the publishers of Law360. The same publication also named Mr. Caldwell as one of only 10 lawyers in the country on its Titans of the Plaintiffs Bar list.
