On the heels of Caldwell Cassady & Curry’s recent Chambers USA rankings, the firm is noted on the recently released 2025 IAM Patent 1000 list for its “formidable team of trial lawyers,” with Brad Caldwell, Jason Cassady, and Austin Curry individually recognized for their work in significant patent infringement cases.
Published annually by UK-based Law Business Research, the IAM Patent 1000 features the world’s top patent professionals. The rankings are compiled through feedback from over 6,000 technology industry leaders and academic institutions worldwide, including Google, Huawei, Microsoft, and other prominent companies.
The rankings describe Brad as bringing “a distinctive perspective to the courtroom, securing victories in cases spanning digital media, telecommunications, data security and beyond.”
Jason is called a “courtroom maestro renowned for his laser-focused approach,” and Austin is noted for his “expertise in patent infringement disputes and cutting-edge technologies” and an “impressive track record securing some of the largest IP verdicts in Texas and nationwide.”
Caldwell Cassady & Curry has claimed multiple professional honors for the firm’s success in patent infringement cases and practically every type of legal issue impacted by intellectual property. Earlier this year, Brad, Jason, and Austin led the firm’s trial team to a $105 million verdict on behalf of Texas-based VidStream LLC against Twitter Inc./X Corp. that included a finding of willful infringement.
