Vlada Wendel is a trial attorney who represents clients in patent disputes in federal district courts, before the U.S. International Trade Commission, and in inter partes review proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. Her experience includes matters involving communications, semiconductors, software, networking, and other advanced technologies, with substantial experience in the Eastern and Western Districts of Texas, the District of Delaware, and the Central District of California.

Her experience includes developing infringement and non-infringement positions, validity and invalidity theories, drafting dispositive and other strategic motions, working closely with technical experts on expert reports, and preparing fact and expert witnesses for deposition and trial. She has also contributed to coordinated case strategy across district court litigation and parallel inter partes review proceedings.

Before joining Caldwell Cassady & Curry, Vlada practiced at an international law firm, where she represented major corporate clients in patent litigation. That prior defense-side experience gives her insight into how sophisticated defendants evaluate patent claims, assess exposure, and develop case strategy. Before law school, she spent more than five years at a Fortune 500 industrial automation company, where she gained practical experience with software, hardware, manufacturing, and related systems.
