The lawsuits, initially filed in seven different district courts and then consolidated at Neo’s request, involve a series of patents covering technology for in-vehicle cellular communications, including infringement claims against automakers Tesla, General Motors, Toyota, Ford, Honda, Fiat Chrysler, Volkswagen, Mercedes Benz, and Nissan. The claims against Volkswagen and Mercedes were settled in 2023.
