The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas in Dallas has issued a final judgment affirming Caldwell Cassady & Curry’s trial victory earlier this year for Texas-based VidStream LLC against social media giant Twitter Inc., now X Corp.
The court’s November 20, 2025, judgment awards VidStream $172,834,223 for Twitter’s infringement of a patent covering technology for easily sharing online videos. The judgment includes over $105 million in damages issued by the Dallas jury in April and over $67 million in prejudgment interest.
