Caldwell Cassady & Curry principals Brad Caldwell and Jason Cassady are once again recognized for their expertise in patent infringement lawsuits and other significant legal disputes on the 2025 IP Stars list from Managing IP, a leading provider of intellectual property news and analysis.
Brad and Jason have been included in the annual IP Stars rankings for years based on their success in high-stakes infringement cases, licensing agreements, copyright, trademark, trade dress, and licensing disputes, as well as trade dress issues.
The two experienced Caldwell Cassady & Curry attorneys are among fewer than 150 Texas lawyers recognized on the 2025 IP Stars list. They are both regularly recognized in The Best Lawyers in America, Texas Super Lawyers, Chambers USA, and other professional guides to the top intellectual property lawyers in the nation and worldwide.
Brad, Jason, and fellow principal Austin Curry recently led the firm to a $105 million patent infringement verdict against social media giant Twitter Inc., now known as X Corp., on behalf of Texas-based VidStream LLC. The award issued by a jury in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas included a finding that Twitter’s infringement was willful.
